A 3D Scene Authoring Toolkit for Mobile Augmented Reality
Project Description
Mobile augmented reality applications require various virtual contents to augment real scene. It is time-consuming and complicated to design and develop specified virtual 3D scene for each augmented reality application. To develop a scene authoring toolkit for developers is urgent. The project will develop a scene editor for developers to fast design and develop virtual scene for augmented reality applications in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get way. The toolkit will provide basic objects and elements to deploy the virtual scene. Developers are able to align virtual contents with real objects in a natural way. The virtual scene is configured visually and then parsed for further use in the development of augmented reality system.
