Analysis of Surface Delivery of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptors
Project Description
We will utilize live imaging and super-resolution imaging approaches to analyze transport of newly synthesized epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFR) to the cell surface. Safety training courses are required for the project.

Applicant's Roles
The undergraduate students will be in charge of generating stable cell lines that stably expresses GFP-EGFR and perform molecular cloning experiments to generate EGFR mutants. The undergraduate students will work with PG students to perform imaging analysis. Safety training courses are required for the project.
Applicant's Learning Objectives
Students will learn basic experimental techniques in cell biology, biochemistry, imaging and molecular biology.
