Controlling Confinement Effect of Polymer Dynamics
Project Description

The dynamics of many polymers have been found to alter upon confinement in nanometer films. In this experiment, one will attempt to control the confinement effect by mixing polymers that exhibit dynamic enhancement upon confinement with those that exhibit dynamic depression. Where appropriate, composition profile in the films will be studied to understand the research outcome.
