Development of AI-based Smartphone Microscopy system for Identification of Algal species for Environmental Protection
Project Description

Environmental deterioration and pollution problems in many inland and coastal waterbodies in China threaten public health, food supply and water security of the country. In particular, the densely populated areas of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area face the reoccurring environmental problems such as algal blooms and accidental pollution incidents.
