Development of a Virtual Teaching Assistant, Chatbot, to Improve the Learning of Mechanisms of Machinery using IBM Watson AI platform
Project Description

The advance of Artificial intelligence is promising to enhance the learning of challenging engineering courses. In particular, chatbots can be useful to work as Virtual Teaching Assistant for the engineering course with a large number of students. This project is to use IBM Artificial intelligence platform, i.e., Watson Assistant and Watson Discovery, to develop a preliminary chatbot in collaboration with the real Teaching Assistants of the MECH course, MECH3030 Mechanisms of Machinery. This project will be in collaboration with the CSE Department.
