Efficient Numerical Methods for Dynamic Interface
Project Description

Modeling of an interface evolution is an important task in many fields in science and engineering including multi-phase flow simulations, crystal growth simulation, and surface regularization in image processing. This project aims to develop and/or apply new numerical method to efficiently model interface motion. Student might choose to develop a new interface representation, or to develop a new data structure for existing numerical methods, or to explore new application of modeling dynamic interface.
