Mobile Augmented Reality is an emerging technology that mixes reality with virtual objects.This is typically used in Geo-based mobile applications.In this scenario, users can view virtual 'avatars' of locations around them through these apps.But conflicts of virtual objects is common problem for current applications because these objects may occupy the same position in user's view.Motivated by this,this project aims to design and implement a method for non-conflict visualization of geo-spatial information.
Applicants are required to implement an optimization algorithm in mobile platform such as Android/IOS. This algorithm will be provided by supervisor. And they can also design a fascinating UI if they are interested.
By the end of this project, the student will be familiarized with application development of Mobile Augmented Reality on Android/IOS. They will also learn some optimization theory such as linear programming.
