Investigating transcription elongation dynamics at a single-molecule level
Project Description
Transcription is the first step and the pivotal step in the regulation of gene expression. The goal of this project is to study how RNA polymerase transcribes through the DNA using single-molecule optical tweezers and how transcription factors are involved in this process.
