Measuring mechanical properties of cancer cells using magnetic tweezers
Project Description

Mechanical properties of cells play important roles in biological processes. Changes in stiffness of cells may indicate diseases in tissues. Hence, cell stiffness is an index to evaluate the status of cell health. Magnetic tweezers can be used for measuring the stiffness of cells. We will use measure the stiffness of cancer cells and normal cells using magnetic tweezers.
