Mobile Network Analysis
Project Description
This project aims at characterizing the 4G networks of major operators in
Hong Kong. This project is separated in two phases: first, a measurement phase
throughout the city. The samples measured during the first phase will then be
used to design a geospatial model of the network for the whole city of Hong
Kong.

Applicant's Roles
1. Study the basic materials provided by the instructor.
2. Co-design with the instructor an experimental protocol for city-wide reliable
measurements.
3. Analyze the results of the mesasurements phase, and try to establish
geospatial correlations.

Applicant's Learning Objectives
By the end of the project, the student will be familiar with setting up a
reliable, large scale measurement experiment. Moreover, the student will acquire
knowledge on mobile networks, both theoretical and practical.
