We aim at studying the determinants of supply chain links formation by looking at firms' attendance in trade shows. We are particularly interested in studying how managerial incentives for short-term performance and cost-cutting may prevent firms from attending trade shows, and how this may affect the efficiency their supply chain relationships in the long-run.
