Underwater Robot Design and Key Technologies
Project Description

The goal of this project is to develop technologies on building an underwater robot for underwater observation. This project aims to assist the Department of Ocean Science on the research of underwater environment. The robot ables to capture images and videos underwater and cruise within a certain amount of distance. In order to complete the project, students will need to have knowledge of basic mechanical and electronic designs.

Applicant's Roles

This project is designed for a team of students, who will split into mechanical hardware and software aspect of the system. Students will be responsible for the robot casing, controller electronics and user UI. Students interested in this project should have mechanical design skills, programming skills and strong practical skills.
