Project Description:Deep learning has emerged as one of the most powerful classes of artificial intelligence algorithms. In recent years, deep learning has made a number of breakthroughs on the automatic analysis and representation of human language. Sentiment analysis, in particular, tries to identify the opinions expressed in a piece of text, e.g., whether it is positive, negative, or neutral. In this project, you will implement and study the use of deep learning for sentiment analysis, such as the prediction of sentiment in financial news and blogs.

Applicant's Roles:The student will implement and experiment with novel algorithms. Strong interest in machine learning and good programming skills are expected.
