Investigating the motion of synaptic vesicles in neurons

Project Description:The motion of synaptic vesicles play an important role in physiology of neuron. In particular the motion of synaptic vesicles during the stimulation of action potential in synaptic transmission. We are trying to find useful parameters of the motion of synaptic vesicles during stimulation using observed trajectories of synaptic vesicles.

Applicant's Roles:A student is expected to find useful parameters of the motion of synaptic vesicles. He or she is expected to compare these parameters between excitatory and inhibitory synaptic vesicles.
