Efficient Algorithms to Process Gigapixel Images

Project Description:In this project, the student will research into efficient methods to generate and process large images with tens of billions of pixels. Methods can include stitching photographs into panoramas, displaying the images efficiently, mapping the images to 3D models, matching multiple images for compositing, rendering and overlaying animated components on panoramas.
