Project Description:In this project, we study light-matter quantum interaction. Particularly, our goal is to produce narrow-band entangled photon pairs from a hot atomic vapor cell and/or laser cooled atoms.

Applicant's Roles:You will closely work with postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows to solve scientific and engineering problems in a team environment.  
Applicant's Learning Objectives:You will learn and master the basic experimental research skills in laser electronics, atomic physics, and computer programming. You will also have the opportunity to work through and solve scientific research problems in a team environment.
