Exocytosis and Transport of Vesicles in Huntington's Disease Mouse Model

Project Description:Many neurodegenerative diseases show abnormal release and transport of vesicles. It is unclear whether there is any abnormalcy of transport and release caused by mutant Huntingtin protein in Huntington's disease. We are investigating whether there is any defect in transport release in our Huntington's disease mouse model.

Applicant's Roles:Testing whether mutant Huntingtin proteins disrupt the release and transport of vesicles in Huntington's disease mouse model by measuring exocytosis and movement of vesicles.
