Project Description:Many finite element models use estimated values for skin stiffness and damping coefficients when modeling loads on the human body. However, these estimates are not very accurate. In this study, you will run different experiments to determine the mechanical properties of human skin.
Course type: UROP1100  
Applicant's Roles:The role will be to design and run experiments, and model the experimental data collected 
Applicant's Learning Objectives:1. Mathematically model the collected data 2. Plan and execute experiments with people 3. Learn to use data collection software
