Project Description:This project involves the design and characterization of nanoparticles to cross the blood-brain barrier for delivering peptide therapeutics to the cerebellum.

Applicant's Roles:Assist in the synthesis and characerization of polymers and peptides; preparation and characerzition of nanoparticles; measurement of drug release profiles by HPLC. 
Applicant's Learning Objectives:-Describe the design criteria of nanoparticles for brain targeting -Aquire techniques for preparation of nanomaterials and basic analytical skills relevant for drug delivery research research -Analyze data on drug release
