Designing Conversational Agents for Neurocognitive Disorders Screening
Project Description
Population ageing is a global trend that imposes challenges on healthcare systems. One of the common diseases in the elderly is neurocognitive disorder (NCD), such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. To provide early diagnosis of NCD, designing conversational agents is a promising method to mitigate the workload of clinicians. This project will conduct a content analysis on the conversations between the clinicians and the elders for NCD screening and then design human-engaged, empathetic, and robust conversational agents.
