[Control Engineering] Underwater Robot for Maritime Exploration
The goal of this project is to build portable underwater robots for maritime exploration and research. We are aiming to create open-source, modular underwater robots that can autonomously navigate through and interact with the underwater environments. Successful candidates are expected to work on developing controllers for our underwater robot system to successfully navigate through the underwater environments. Prior experience in control engineering preferred.
Applicant's Learning Objectives:
- Hands-on experience for making a real robotic system by incorporating sensors, actuators and control algorithms
- Collaboration with software/hardware/electrical engineers
